Section · 01 / General

The essentials.

The questions we hear most often before a project starts.

How long does it take to build my Discord bot?

Typically, we deliver your bot within 5-7 business days after receiving your project brief and requirements. Complex bots may take slightly longer.

Can I customize commands after purchase?

Yes! You can modify the command list anytime during our 30-day free trial period. After that, customizations are available through support requests.

What happens if the bot goes offline?

Our bots are hosted on reliable cloud infrastructure with automatic failover. Enterprise plans include 99.9% uptime SLA with immediate support if issues occur.

Can the bot work on multiple servers?

Yes! Your bot can be added to multiple Discord servers. Enterprise and Ultimate plans support unlimited servers.

Do you provide source code access?

Absolutely! We provide the complete bot source code on GitHub, allowing you to understand and modify it if needed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) through our secure Authorize.Net payment gateway.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes! We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, we'll refund you completely with no questions asked.

How do I add more features later?

You can submit feature requests through your order dashboard. Our team will provide pricing and timeline for additional features.

Do you offer support after delivery?

Yes! All plans include at least email support. Pro, Enterprise, and Ultimate plans include priority and VIP support options.

Can I cancel my service anytime?

Since these are one-time purchases (not subscriptions), once delivered, the bot is yours forever. You can stop using it anytime with no penalties.
Section · 02 / Ordering & Pricing

Pricing & payment.

How we charge, what's included, and what happens at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard through our secure Authorize.Net payment processor. All transactions are encrypted with TLS, and your card details are never stored on our servers — the processor handles tokenization and PCI compliance.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes — every plan includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the delivered bot, request a refund and we'll process it in full. No interrogation form, no exit interview, no clawback of the source code you already received.

Do you offer custom quotes?

Absolutely. Listed plans are starting points. For custom requirements, multiple services bundled together, or unusual scope, send us your brief through the contact form and we'll respond with a tailored proposal within 24 hours.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price you see at checkout is exactly what you pay — no setup fees, no surprise charges, no recurring costs unless you explicitly add a managed hosting option. One-time payment, full stop.
Section · 03 / Delivery & Timeline

Build & delivery.

How long the build takes, what to expect during it, and what happens at handover.

How long does it take to build my bot?

Most projects ship in 5–7 business days from the moment you submit the project brief. More complex builds with extensive customization can take 10–14 days. You'll receive daily updates over the project chat throughout.

Can I get my bot faster?

Yes — rush delivery is available for time-pressured launches, with a typical 3–4 day turnaround. There's a surcharge to cover the schedule reorganization, but the engineering rigor stays exactly the same. Subject to availability.

What if I need to delay my project?

No problem. Once you place an order you have 60 days to submit the project brief at your pace. If you need to postpone the actual build after submitting the brief, just message us — we'll reschedule within reason.

How do I track progress while you build?

Every project gets a dedicated chat thread where you see commits as they land and can ask questions in real time. There's no separate project management tool to log into — the chat is the single source of truth.
Section · 04 / Technical & Ownership

Source code, stack & ownership.

What you actually own, what we build with, and how the technical handover works.

Do I own the source code?

Yes — you own 100% of your bot's source code. We hand over a private GitHub repository under your control on day one, with no licensing restrictions. Modify, deploy, fork, or hand it off to another team at any time.

Can I modify the bot myself?

Absolutely. The full source is yours, the code is documented, and we provide a video walkthrough of the architecture. If you have engineers in-house, they can extend the bot directly. If not, we're available for paid additions.

What programming languages do you support?

We primarily build with Discord.js (Node.js), Python (discord.py), Java (JDA Framework) and TypeScript. Tell us your team's stack preference in the brief and we'll build in that — no extra charge for language choice.

Where is the bot hosted by default?

You can host it anywhere — we provide deployment documentation for major platforms (Railway, Fly.io, AWS, DigitalOcean, your own VPS). Or you can add our managed hosting option and we'll deploy and operate it for you.
Section · 05 / Support & Maintenance

After the handover.

What support looks like once your bot is live — the part most agencies forget.

What support do I get after delivery?

Lifetime support is included in every plan. That means a two-hour reply window over the project chat, indefinitely — for questions, bug fixes, deployment help, or scoping future features. Bug fixes for issues we introduced are free, forever.

How do I report bugs or issues?

Use the project chat or email support@custombotstudio.com. We typically reply within two business hours. For critical production issues we prioritize fixes within 24 hours, often the same day.

Can I request new features after delivery?

Yes — feature additions are scoped as separate engagements. Send a brief describing what you need and we'll respond with a quote. Small additions usually ship in days; larger ones follow the same 5–7 day rhythm as a fresh build.

What if Discord changes their API?

Discord API breaking changes are rare but they happen. If a change breaks your bot and the fix is straightforward, we patch it for free as part of lifetime support. Larger refactors needed for major Discord platform shifts are scoped separately.
Section · 06 / Integration & Custom

Custom features & integrations.

When the standard catalogue doesn\'t cover what you need.

Do you offer custom features?

Yes — everything outside the standard catalogue is in-scope. Music players, complex logging, niche game mechanics, multi-server orchestration, AI workflows — if you can describe it in a brief, we can scope it.

Can you integrate with external APIs?

Yes. We can wire your bot to virtually any public API — weather, sports, finance, gaming, your internal services — with proper auth, retries and rate-limiting. Custom integrations are quoted based on complexity.

Can you set up a database for my bot?

Yes. We support MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis and SQLite. We'll design the schema, write migrations, handle indexes and configure read-replicas if your scale needs it.

Can you add AI features?

Absolutely. We work with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and open-weight models. Conversational threads, content classification, retrieval-augmented Q&A, summarization — with proper rate-limits, cost controls and response caching.
